Esteemed members of the South Florida community are dedicated to attending this event and supporting this important effort that benefits SOS Children’s Villages – Florida. Therefore, the bar to inspire attendees year over year continues to rise. For the 2015 Hope and Home Gala, KE offered up experiential decor that brought to life “An Evening on the Serengeti.”
Here is a look at the “behind the scenes” weeks of preparation that KE event professionals put into authenticating this African Serengeti experience.
Custom bases were built to fortify each tree centerpiece and individual branches were wrapped and anchored to allow a gradual build out of volume.
Exotic floral elements were integrated into smaller surrounding centerpieces that cascaded down the banquet tablescape for a natural, organic brush like feel.
Guests were delighted when they arrived at the venue to find sprawling centerpieces of large trees (inspired by the promotional art work and beautiful back-drop banner) that cascaded down banquet tables of ongoing greenery. The KE in-house floral and design team delivered on the feeling of a natural and exotic African landscape. The luminous mechanical butterflies that gently fluttered their wings throughout the evening were the “over-the-top” wow factor that guests conversed over and truly helped to transport; even if only through imagination.
SOS CHILDREN’S VILLAGES – FLORIDA, is a sanctuary of homes in Coconut Creek, Florida that provide a safe and secure environment for foster children. The ANNUAL HOPE AND HOME GALA is a large part of what ensures that children in the community continue to receive the funding for the homes and care that they need.
